{"id":497,"date":"2020-11-05T11:27:39","date_gmt":"2020-11-05T11:27:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mechecolab.blogs.bristol.ac.uk\/?p=497"},"modified":"2020-11-05T11:27:39","modified_gmt":"2020-11-05T11:27:39","slug":"new-papers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mechanicalecology.exeter.ac.uk\/?p=497","title":{"rendered":"New papers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;re pleased to announce that our paper on &#8216;Disentangling the role of surface topography and intrinsic wettability in the prey capture mechanism of <em>Nepenthes<\/em> pitcher plants&#8217; in collaboration with <a href=\"http:\/\/evo-biomech.ic.ac.uk\/people\/lab-members\/#david-labonte\">David Labonte<\/a>, Adam Robinson and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zoo.cam.ac.uk\/directory\/walter-federle\">Walter Federle<\/a> has been accepted for publication in <em>Acta Biomaterialia. <\/em>The corrected proofs are online <a href=\"https:\/\/authors.elsevier.com\/c\/1c7ak6CFjZFwys\">here<\/a> and remain open access until 13 January 2021. Meanwhile, our review paper on &#8216;Mechanical ecology \u2013 taking biomechanics to the field&#8217;, published as a pre-print earlier this year, is now in\u00a0 available in the final print version.
