We joined Twitter back in 2022, shortly before it was bought by Elon Musk and turned into X. Over the past year, we have watched X deteriorate into a platform to distribute fake news, false facts and worse, hate propaganda. After the most recent meddling of Mr Musk with central European politics, we decided that we are no longer comfortable with using X as a social media platform for our lab. We feel that we want to be represented by a platform that keeps political neutrality and promotes honest information, respect and tolerance for all users. Therefore, we have decided to move the lab to Bluesky – a fast growing social media platform that increasingly establishes itself as an alternative to X. Our X profile will be deleted shortly.
